Divney Tung Schwalbe was an exhibitor at the recent Students for a Sustainable Future EXPO run by CELF, the Children’s Environmental Literacy Foundation, at Pace University in Pleasantville, New York. We were pleased to meet many of the student, teacher, administrator and parent attendees, all of whom were interested in learning about ways to make their schools greener. Our exhibit posed the question, “Are there signs of Intelligent Land Use on your school campus?” and identified different opportunities on a campus for making environmentally-friendly choices and decisions. It also illustrated the process – from Analysis through Planning and Implementation – that DTS’s planners, engineers and landscape architects utilize to develop creative and sustainable land use solutions for our clients.
For those who stopped by our booth at the EXPO, thank you for visiting and welcome back! If you have questions about specific conditions or opportunities on your school campus, please contact Donna Maiello, ASLA, at (914) 428-0010 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
