Associate Maria Alfaro has over eleven years experience in site design, civil engineering and stormwater management planning for residential, institutional, and commercial projects. She is responsible for site design and grading, utility layout and engineering, and stormwater system regulatory compliance for many of the firm’s projects. She also is responsible for scheduling and coordinating projects during their planning, approvals and documentation phases.

Maria has recently served as project engineer for a 500-unit lifestyle master planned residential community in Haverstraw, New York; the 410-unit Residences at Jefferson Place in White Plains, New York for JPI; and two Avalon apartment developments in New Rochelle and White Plains, New York.

Maria has a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Duke University. She is a licensed professional engineer in New York. She is also a member of the Society of Women Engineers and the U.S. Green Building Council.
